Dearest friends, patrons, charities, and fellow establishments of the evening - the owners and staff of Marfreless are grieved to announce the upcoming closing of our iconic Houston landmark bar and lounge. Read our final words to you and our official press release in this news post.

Marfreless Turns 40

This month we celebrate 40 years of cocktails, date nights, dark rooms, and blue door service to our Houston patrons, communities, and charities.

Join us during the week of November 12 - 18 and celebrate our cause by tipping on back at Marfreless. Stop by on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for free food to accompany your toast.

And by all means, come in on Wednesday November 14th to meet and drink with the man himself - Marfreless founder Fred Hong.
